Both iodine and selenium are vital trace elements that must be taken in through food. Opposed to animal foods, however, plants often contain little of it because of the iodine- and selenium-poor soils. The amount is so little, that an adequate supply of iodine and selenium is not ensured.

Bad Reichenhaller AlpenJodSalz + Selen is an evaporated salt from pure alpine brine. Iodine and selenium have no influence on taste and use.
